Booking the Centre
Download and fill out a booking form to ensure that we capture your details and your requirements. Please tell us about your set-up requirements, the number of tables and chairs, your catering numbers and technical requests. If you require any assistance please contact our Administrator who can discuss your event / activity with you:
First time hirers are asked to complete a Hire Charge Assessment form to ensure that we charge you the correct amount. Please try to give us as much information on the form as possible:
Once we have received your form we will process your booking request, check availability of the rooms requested and we might be in touch to ask some additional questions.
If this is a one off booking you may be asked to pay in advance. If it is for a series of bookings we will invoice you each month.
The booking is not confirmed until you agree to our terms and conditions and the Administrator or Centre Manager have contacted you to formally accept the booking:
Hire Prices
Our prices have been assessed against other local venues and community centres. We operate a layered pricing structure which offers local people and not for profit groups a subsidised rate. Please see our hire prices below, and download our hire rate assessment form, which will help us to make sure that we charge you the correct rate. For larger events, conferences, charity fundraisers, weddings, parties and concerts please contact the Centre staff who will be happy to discuss package rates with you.

Licensed Venue
Storey’s Field Centre is fully licensed, therefore, we exclusively operate the bar and regulate all consumption and distribution of alcohol. In the same way that you can not take your own drinks in to a pub, hirers, and their customers and guests, are not permitted to bring alcohol into the building and will be asked to leave if found to do so.
All instances of underage drinking will be reported to the Police.
Please contact the Centre Administrator for more information about the bar.
Technical
For performing arts events, conferences or meetings which require lights, sound or projections please contact us for advice and a list of technical equipment. We can supply a technician for your event for an additional fee or you can use your own competent technician if arranged in advance of your show.

Parking
We encourage visitors to arrive using sustainable transport and to avoid travelling by car to Storey’s Field Centre where possible. There is limited parking on site. We advise anyone driving to the Centre to park at Madingley Road Park and Ride, which is free (for up to 18 hours) and only a 5-10 minute walk away via a short cut at the northern end of the car park.
Parking charges in Eddington apply 8am-6pm Monday to Friday (including public holidays) and 10am-5pm Saturday to Sunday (including public holidays). Most spaces have a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 1 hour, though there are some spaces near to the Centre with a maximum stay of 4 hours. There is disabled parking close to the Centre for Blue Badge holders and more reserved spaces nearby. Please download the Parking Information Sheet for more details.
